The future is here and it’s not waiting on any of us. Thanks to breakthroughs in robotics, AI, quantum computing, the future has come crashing in on us and the pandemic only supercharged it. With international instability, worker strikes, and what is being hailed as “The Great Resignation,” how will we navigate the next 10 years? How did we get here and what does it mean for manufacturing, entrepreneurship, education, government, humanity? And most importantly, how can Greenwood position itself to thrive in an age of disruption?
John McElligott is a sought after national speaker who has a passion for emerging technologies and bringing this knowledge base to rural communities. He will be speaking to the high school students of Greenwood County during the morning, and presenting similar information and challenges to community leaders in the evening.
